We’ve been over here at Goragunta Palya for quite a while now. If you head into the industrial suburb in Yeswanthapur, you’ll find us at number 49. It’s a busy spot, mostly industrial shops and workshops around here. Our place, Thermo Treaters Pvt Ltd, deals with heat treatment work for all kinds of metal parts. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just the machines and the heat. The guys who work here have been doing this for years, so they know their way around a furnace. Usually, someone brings in a batch of parts that need hardening or softening, and we get to work. It gets pretty hot in the shop, especially during the summer months, but that's just how the job is. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork unless we have to. Most of the day is spent checking temperatures and moving things in and out of the ovens. People in the area know us as the place that's always got the lights on early in the morning. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to get trucks in and out, but we manage. If you're looking for us, look for the sign near the corner. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Bangalore, just trying to keep the machines running and get the orders out on time for the people who rely on us. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
