The Sobha Group

Being located in Amruthahalli means dealing with the constant growth of Bangalore. The Sobha Group operates out of a space on Gangamma Temple Road. It is right there near the temple, so you hear the bells and the morning prayers while you are trying to get through the emails. The address is 22/7, c/o Gangamma. It is a busy area. There is always construction noise somewhere nearby and the smell of wet cement is pretty common. Our office is practical. We have some chairs for people to sit on while they wait and a lot of maps and drawings spread out on the tables. It gets dusty with all the traffic outside. Bangalore weather is usually okay, but the afternoons can get stuffy in the office when the sun hits the side of the building. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to contractors who drop by with muddy boots. Nobody wears suits here unless there is a very specific reason. Most of us just wear what is comfortable for a long day. We know the local tea sellers and the shortcuts to avoid the main road traffic. It is just a regular group of people working in a fast-changing part of the city. We do our work, manage the sites, and try to keep things organized despite the chaos. It is not always perfect, but we keep the office running as best as we can.
