The Partimers

The Partimers is located at number 16 on 14th Main Road in Vasanth Nagar. It’s a decent enough spot, quite central and easy to get to if you know the area. We focus on finding people who want part-time roles. The office itself is fairly quiet most days, except for the sounds from the street. We have a few computers and a lot of notebooks scattered around. It’s a small team here, just three of us usually. We start around 9:30 and see what's come in overnight. Vasanth Nagar has a lot of trees which is nice when you walk out for lunch. Our building is a bit older, but it holds up okay. We don't have any big corporate signs, just the name on the door. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a small pantry where we keep the tea stuff. We talk to a lot of students and folks who have a few hours to spare. It’s simple work, matching what someone can do with what a shop or a small firm needs. We don't use much software, mostly just spreadsheets and phone calls. Sometimes the neighbors come in to chat. It’s a very local feel. We don’t try to act bigger than we are. We just stay busy with the files and making sure people get their questions answered. It gets a bit dark in the back room so we keep the lights on all day.
