This branch is tucked away in the A.R. Compound over on 2nd Main Road in Chamarajpet. If you know Bangalore, you know how tight these streets can get, especially when the big lorries are trying to turn the corners. We've been operating out of this spot for a good while, handling the cement orders for this part of the city. The compound stays pretty noisy with all the loading and unloading going on throughout the day. There is a mix of office work and heavy manual labor for the guys in the yard. We have a small team here that manages the dispatch schedules and the billing. Sometimes the heavy rain slows everything down, which is always a bit of a headache when you're trying to keep the cement bags dry. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that here. It's just a functional yard and a couple of small rooms for the paperwork and files. Most of the builders and contractors around Chamarajpet stop by to check on their orders or settle their bills in person. We keep a close eye on the stock coming from the plants to make sure we don't run out. The environment is busy and things move fast once the gates open. Sometimes we have to stay a bit late to finish the manifest if a truck arrives at the end of the day. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners in the compound quite well by now. We focus on getting the product out to the sites.
