The Designs

If you look for us in Malleswaram West, you’ll find our office on 15th Cross, 4th Main. We’re at number 79. It’s one of those old-school Malleswaram streets with a lot of trees and some nice houses around. We like the vibe here. The Designs is really just a group of people who enjoy working on layouts and building stuff. We aren't big on meetings or long presentations. Usually, we just sit around and figure out the best way to use a room or fix a structural issue. The office has a lot of natural light which is nice for looking at samples. We’ve got piles of catalogues everywhere. It can get messy when we have multiple projects going on at once. Most of the time we are busy with local work right here in the neighborhood. We know the shops around here well. Sometimes we just walk over to get what we need instead of ordering it. Malleswaram 79 has become a second home to us. We’ve worked on all sorts of things, from small room fixes to larger builds. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just hear about us through friends or see us working on a site and stop to chat. It’s a very hands-on way to work. We spend a lot of our time making sure the measurements are right because mistakes are expensive. Most evenings we are just wrapping up the final touches on some drawing or the other.
