The Design Firm

We set up The Design Firm at No. 123 on Margosa Road in Malleswaram. Our office is on the 1st floor. If you are taking the bus, we are very close to the 13th Cross bus stop. Malleswaram is one of those areas that has a lot of trees and a bit of a traditional feel. We like it here. Margosa Road is always busy with people going to the markets or the temples. Our workspace is pretty simple. Even though we are a design firm, we don't have a studio that looks like a magazine. It’s just a place with computers, some drafting tables, and a lot of sketches pinned to the walls. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking about layouts. It gets a bit messy sometimes with all the paper and coffee mugs, but that is just how we work. We aren't interested in looking corporate. We just want to get the drawings right. The 1st floor is easy to get to, and we usually have the windows open if the weather is nice. You can hear the sounds of the street, which is quite nice actually. We have been at this address for a good stretch of time. Most people around here know us by now. We just do our thing and let the work speak for itself without any big fuss or formal statements. It's just a bunch of us designing things in a comfortable corner of Malleswaram.
