The Daffodil

Our shop, The Daffodil, is situated at 45 Millers Road in the Vasanth Nagar area. We are directly opposite the Photo Shop, which has been there for a long time too. Vasanth Nagar is a bit of an older neighborhood with a lot of character and big trees, although it is definitely getting more crowded these days. The building we are in is a bit older, so it has that solid, traditional feel to it. We don't have a massive, flashy storefront. It is just a simple place where we do our daily work. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the customers who live nearby and have been coming to this street for years. Inside, we have our things laid out in a way that makes sense to us, even if it might look a little cluttered to someone else. We like the pace of things here. It is not as frantic as the main commercial hubs. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the evening, watching the life of the street go by. Sometimes we just stand at the entrance and chat with the neighbors. There is no corporate manual for how we run things. It is just a small local business. We keep the floors clean, the lights on, and we are here if someone needs us. It is a very plain and honest way to run a business in Bangalore.
