The Curio Barn

The Curio Barn is our shop located at No.5Ac, 903, on the first floor in HRBR 1st Block. This is in the Kalyan Nagar and Babusapalya area. We are quite close to the Ganesha Temple, which is the main landmark we give to anyone coming over. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, which is nice. We deal in various curios and interesting items, hence the name. The space is filled with all sorts of things we’ve collected and put up for sale. It can get a bit crowded, so you have to watch your step when you walk around. We don't have a big staff, just us keeping the place tidy and helping people look through the shelves. Kalyan Nagar is a lively place with lots of cafes and shops, but our corner near the temple feels a bit more grounded. We spend a lot of our time dusting things and rearranging the displays when something new comes in. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We aren't looking to become a giant chain; we just like having this one spot where we can show off unique pieces. It’s a bit of a hobby turned into a job, really. People stop by after visiting the temple or while they are out for a walk in the evening. We just enjoy the conversations and the slow pace of the day-to-day work here.
