The Apparel Training Design

The Apparel Training Design is located at Yeshwantpur 17/G. If you walk down the street, you can hear the sound of sewing machines humming through the windows. It’s a busy place with rolls of fabric often leaning against the walls in the corners. There are threads everywhere, sticking to our clothes and the floor mats. We spend most of the day bent over tables or looking at patterns. The light isn’t always the best in some corners, so we have those adjustable lamps that everyone moves around. People are always coming in and out, asking questions about how to fix a seam or cut a piece of cloth. It gets a bit warm when all the machines are running at the same time. We keep a few chairs near the back for when we need to sit down for a minute and have some water. The building itself is nothing special to look at from the outside. It’s just a door and some windows on the 17/G block. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and find someone near a cutting table. The scrap bin gets full pretty fast and we have to empty it out every evening. It is a place where people keep their heads down and focus on the needles and the cloth. It feels like a small workshop where everyone is just trying to get their projects finished on time without any distractions.
