The Accounting World

We are located over at 7 Peenya Industrial Area, which is a pretty loud and busy part of town. Our office, The Accounting World, is right near Shiva Bar and Timaliyawad Venkatadri. It’s an area where there’s always trucks moving and people working. The building we’re in has been here for years. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and stacks of ledgers that seem to never get smaller. We spend our days tracking things and making sure the entries are right. It’s not glamorous work. Sometimes the dust from the industrial area gets inside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the keyboards and dusting the monitors. We know the other shop owners around here pretty well. We often grab lunch from the local spots nearby. Our space isn't huge, but there’s enough room for the team to sit and get through the day's tasks. The light in the office is a bit dim in the afternoons, but we have a few desk lamps that help. People come by with their records and we sit down to sort through the mess. There is no big corporate lobby or anyone in a suit waiting at the door. It’s just us doing the accounting. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We stay busy with the local businesses around Peenya who need their books looked at regularly. It's a steady pace here and we like it that way.
