Texture World

We are located at number 12 in Cooke Town. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the rest of the city. Inside, the shop is full of boards showing different wall textures and paint finishes. It’s a bit of a mess because we’re always mixing things or trying out a new plaster technique. You’ll see smudges of different colors on the walls where we’ve tested stuff. We don’t have a fancy showroom layout. It’s more like a workshop where people can come and actually touch the surfaces. Most of our days are spent talking to homeowners about what kind of feel they want for their walls. Sometimes the smell of wet paint is a bit strong, so we keep the front door open. We’ve been in Cooke Town for a while and we like the local vibe. People walk by and peek in to see what we’re working on. It’s just a few of us here, and we usually have radio playing in the background. We don't bother with uniforms or anything like that. We just wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of grit on. It’s a practical job and we like the hands-on part of it. If you’re looking for something perfect and clinical, this probably isn't the spot. It’s a working shop where we actually get our hands dirty. We take our time with each sample we make.
