Our office is tucked away in Vasantpura, specifically over on 7th Main in Maruthi Layout. Bangalore has grown so fast, and being in this part of town means we see a lot of the new stuff happening around us. Technoart Constructions is where we handle the planning and the paperwork for our building projects. It's not a very quiet place because there is always someone coming in to talk about a site or a delivery that’s running late. We have a few desks squeezed into the space on 3rd C Cross. Most of the time, the guys are out on the actual sites, getting their boots muddy and dealing with the labor and the materials. When we are back here, we’re mostly just trying to sort out the drawings and the permits. It’s a lot of back and forth with the city offices and the suppliers. Sometimes the power goes out, or the internet crawls, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. We started small and stayed pretty grounded. We know the local roads and the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the traffic when we need to get to a project. It is hard work, and the days are usually long, starting early before the sun gets too high. We just focus on the bricks and the mortar and making sure things stand up straight at the end of the day.
