Techno Submersibles Pvt. Ltd. is located down in Phase-Iv of G.I.D.C., Vatva. The specific spot is C-1-B, 4620/4621. It is a big industrial estate, so there is always something going on. We work on pumps and water-related gear mostly. The floor is usually a bit wet or oily, which is just part of the job when you are dealing with submersibles. We have a few heavy cranes for moving the bigger units around. It is noisy when everyone is working at once, but we are used to it. Vatva is a hot place in the summer, and the tin roof does not help much, but we keep the fans going. Our crew has been together for a bit. We aren't big on meetings or paperwork; we would rather just be out on the floor getting things fixed. There is a lot of metal lying around—tubes, casings, and motors. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact gate because the numbering in G.I.D.C. can be confusing to outsiders. We just tell them to look for the big blue door. It is an honest day's work here. We do not have a receptionist, so if the bell rings, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and goes to see who it is. That is how we have always done it at 4620/4621. We just handle the work as it comes in and try to stay busy.
