Started at Jnana Bharati Old High Court Lane 30 a while back. It’s a busy spot near the old court buildings. We spend most mornings just sorting through the inventory and making sure the shop front is tidy for whoever walks in. People usually stop by looking for specific hardware or just to ask directions because the lane is a bit narrow. The sign outside has seen better days, but it’s still hanging there. We handle a lot of small orders for the neighbors and some of the local offices around here. It gets dusty with all the traffic passing through, so there’s always cleaning to do. My brother and I take turns sitting at the desk. Sometimes the phone rings all afternoon and other days it’s quiet enough to actually read the paper. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. Just shelves full of what people need. Most of the stuff we keep is based on what folks have asked for over the years. If something breaks in the back, we fix it ourselves. It’s just how things go here. We’ve known the tea stall guy next door for ages, and that’s where most of our breaks happen. It’s not a complicated setup at all. We just open up early, do the work, and close when the sun goes down. It’s been this way for a long time now. People know us as Taurus Enterprises, and we're just part of the street.
