We are over here at the Harion Building on Wood Street. It’s a busy spot in Balanagar. People usually know the name Tata, but we just focus on the daily work of communication lines and making sure the signals stay up. It isn't always glamorous. Some days the cables need checking or the servers act up, and we just deal with it. The office is pretty standard. We've got our desks and coffee like any other place. Wood Street can get crowded during the morning rush, but we manage. Most of us have been around here for a while. It’s not about being fancy. We just keep the systems running so people can talk to each other. Sometimes it’s quiet, other times it’s a bit of a mess with all the data stuff. We don't really have big speeches. We just show up at No. 21 and do what needs doing. It’s a job where you learn something new every week because technology changes fast. If you walk past the building, you might see us coming and going. It’s just how it is. We try to keep things steady. No one likes it when the internet drops out, so that’s why we are here in Balanagar. It’s a lot of wires and screens. We keep things moving along as best we can. It’s simple work but it takes time and patience to get it right. Most people don't think about us until something stops working, and that's fine.
