Our place on Kherani Road in Rajajinagar is usually a bit quiet in the mornings. It’s just a standard clinic setup with a waiting area and a couple of rooms for the exams. We’ve got those charts on the walls with the letters that get smaller at the bottom. The machines we use for checking eyes are probably the most expensive things in the room, so we’re pretty careful with them. The chairs in the waiting room are plastic, nothing special, but they do the job. We see a lot of people from around this part of Rajajinagar. Some just need new glasses because they sat on their old ones, and others are here for more serious stuff. It can get a bit crowded around midday, so sometimes people have to wait outside on the landing. We try to keep the magazines on the table updated, but they usually end up being a few months old. The lights are quite bright because we need to see what we’re doing. It’s a plain office, really. No big signs or anything flashy on the inside. Just white walls and the smell of antiseptic. We’ve been at this 30286 address for a bit, and people know where to find us. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation where we look at eyes and talk about frames. Most of the time is spent cleaning lenses and writing down notes in the files.
