Tamanna Cancer Clinic

Our place, Tamanna Cancer Clinic, is located at No.6 in the Maruthi Complex. This is in Chikkamaranahalli, right on New Bel Road. It is a very busy area because the Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies is right next door to us. You see a lot of students walking around with their backpacks and coffee. The complex itself is a typical Bangalore commercial building. It has several different shops and offices. We are just one of them. Dealing with cancer is a heavy thing, so we try to make the clinic feel as normal as possible. We don't have white clinical walls that feel cold. It is just a regular office setup. I’m usually there at the front, handling the phone calls and talking to the people who come in. The traffic on New Bel Road can be quite something, especially in the evenings when everyone is headed home. Sometimes the noise from the street drifts in, but we have thick windows to help with that. We have been in this spot for a while now. Most people find us because they are already going to the Ramaiah hospital or the college nearby. We don't do any big advertising. We just stay here in the Maruthi Complex and do what needs to be done. It is a small team and we all know each other well. We just take things one day at a time here.
