If you head over to Frazer Town Janapad Society 62, you’ll find us tucked away near the corner. Taj Kitchen is where we spend all our time, for better or worse. It’s a bit cramped inside when everyone is working the same shift, but we make it work by staying out of each other's way. We started out with just a couple of big pots and a plan of not having to work for someone else anymore. Now we’re here every day at 8 AM getting the burners lit and the water boiling. Frazer Town is a great place to be because there is always someone walking by who looks hungry for a meal. We don't do anything too fancy with the decor, just some basic tables and chairs that we wipe down a hundred times a day. The sink in the back leaks a little bit but we put a bucket under it and it's fine for now. We don't talk about being the best because that sounds like something a robot would say in an ad. We just cook the food the way we learned from our families a long time ago. Sometimes the orders get backed up and we have to apologize to people, but most folks around Janapad Society are pretty patient with us. Being a local business is mostly just about showing up every day and making sure the lights stay on. We like it here at number 62 and we hope to stay for a long time.
