T Srinivasa Rao & Co

Our office is located at 46/1 Malleshwaram, right inside the Brindavan Hotel Complex on the Mumbai Pune Road. Being in a hotel complex means there’s always people moving around, which makes the days go by a bit faster. T Srinivasa Rao & Co has been in this spot for a while now. You can usually smell whatever the hotel kitchen is cooking for lunch, which is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how hungry you are. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of paper stacked up in the corners. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the main road, but you get used to the sound of the trucks and cars after a week or two. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and focus on the work. Sometimes travelers from the hotel wander in by mistake looking for the lobby, and we have to point them back the right way. We know the other shop owners in the complex, so there’s always someone to chat with if things get slow. It’s a decent place to work, even if the parking can be a bit of a nightmare during the busy hours. We just show up every morning, do our bit, and head home like everyone else. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when tea time rolls around.
