T Saifuddin & Co

T Saifuddin & Co is located at No.20 on Silver Jubilee Park Road, which everyone just calls SP Road. If you need anything mechanical, electrical, or just plain hard to find, this is where you come. We are tucked behind the mosque, and it’s been our home for a very long time. The street is incredibly narrow and always packed with carts, bikes, and people carrying heavy boxes. It’s loud and dusty, but there’s an energy to it that you won’t find anywhere else in Bangalore. We deal in all sorts of hardware and industrial supplies. Our shop is filled with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and honestly, it’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people come in at once. We know where everything is, though. It’s a family-style environment where we know many of our customers by name. They come to us because they know we’ve been here forever and we usually have that one weird bolt or bearing they can’t find anywhere else. We don't have a website that does much, and we don't do big ads. We just open the shutters in the morning and start helping whoever walks through the door. It’s a traditional way of doing business, based on being here every day and knowing our stock. It’s been working for us for years, so we just keep at it. Sometimes the rain makes the street a mess, but we just carry on as usual.
