We have been based at Lohar Chawl for quite some time now. If you are familiar with the area around Amrut Niwas, you know how hectic it can get during the day. Synchrotech Services Pvt. Ltd. operates out of number 48, and it’s usually a hub of activity. We didn't start this with some grand plan. We just saw that people needed help with technical services and decided to fill that gap. The office itself is pretty basic. We have desks piled with manuals and tools that have seen better days. It is not a place for showing off. We spend most of our time troubleshooting or talking to people who have equipment that just won't behave. Some days the noise from the street is so loud we have to shut the windows, even when it’s hot. We’ve got a small crew here. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the paperwork that seems to grow on its own. It’s a local business through and through. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells snacks at the corner. Sometimes things go wrong, or a repair takes longer than we thought, but we just keep at it. It’s not always easy, but it’s the work we know how to do. We just want to finish the day knowing we handled everything that came our way. It is a long day every day, but we are used to it.
