Being up on the third floor helps a little bit with the street noise, though in Mumbai, you never really get away from the sound of the city entirely. This office is where the Sycone Pmc team handles all the project management details. It’s a practical setup with plenty of room for our files and the big tables we need for looking at site plans. The building itself is an older one, but it’s sturdy and centrally located enough that getting around isn't too much of a headache most days. We spend a lot of our time coordinating between different contractors and making sure the timelines are actually being met. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, there’s a lot of activity with people coming in and out from various job sites across Maharashtra. We’ve been in this 400 022 zip code for a bit now and know the local area well. The lift in the building works most of the time, which is good because carrying heavy rolls of paper up three flights of stairs isn't fun. We just focus on getting the jobs done properly and keeping the paperwork in order so that the construction side of things doesn't hit any avoidable snags. It is just basic work.
