Swaraj Indochem

You can find us at Plot No. 4402, right near Crystal Chowkdi in the GIDC area. It is a very busy industrial zone with factories and warehouses everywhere you turn. Our place is basically a working warehouse with a small section partitioned off for the paperwork. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we have a few fans going all the time to stay cool. We work with various chemical supplies and industrial items. It is mostly about making sure the drums and bags are stored correctly in their spots. We have to be careful with the labels. It is not glamorous work by any means. Our clothes usually end up with some marks or dust by the end of the shift. We have got a small crew here. We know each other's families and chat while we work. The trucks arrive at odd hours sometimes, so we have to stay flexible with our time. There is a small tea stall near the chowkdi where we usually go for a quick break. It is a regular part of our day. We do not bother with fancy decor or anything like that. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it does not stop us from getting the orders out on time. People in the GIDC know us as the guys at plot 4402. We just try to be helpful when someone calls. (251 words)
