If you head down Banswadi Road towards Murad Pura, you’ll find us at number 116. Swamy Tyres has been here for years. It’s a straightforward tyre shop. We’ve got stacks of rubber everywhere, and the floor is usually covered in a bit of grease and dust. That’s just the nature of the work. People come in when they’ve got a flat or when their treads are looking a bit too thin for the rain. We don't have a waiting lounge with a TV or anything like that. Most people just stand around and chat with us while we work on their wheels. Murad Pura is a high-traffic area, so we see a lot of different vehicles every day. From small scooters to bigger cars, we’ve handled most of them. The air compressor is always running in the background, making that loud thumping sound. It’s a bit noisy, but you get used to it after a week or two. We keep things simple. We look at the tyre, tell you if it can be fixed or if it needs replacing, and then we get to it. There isn't much more to it than that. We’ve seen the road change over the years, more shops opening up and the traffic getting heavier, but we’re still right here in the same spot doing the same thing for the neighborhood drivers who need us. It's just a regular local shop.
