Swain Architects

We have our office set up over at the Whitefield Nirmal Industrial Estate, right on Ram Mandir Road. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy around here with all the trucks and people moving about. We’ve been at number 199 for some time now. It isn't a flashy place, just a regular workspace where we keep our drawing boards and a couple of computers. Most mornings start with us trying to find a place to park nearby, which is always a bit of a challenge. The office itself has a lot of paper stacked up and pens lying around everywhere. We spend most of our hours looking at site plans or talking on the phone with builders. It’s noisy outside because of the industrial estate activities, but we got used to it. Usually, one of us goes out to get tea for everyone in the afternoon from the stall down the street. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and we talk at the main table. It’s a practical setup that works for what we do. The walls are a bit plain and we probably should paint them, but there’s always too much work to get through. We just focus on the projects and making sure the drawings are right before they go out. It's a small team here, just a few of us trying to keep things organized.
