Sushma & Co

I’ve lived in this part of Bangalore for a long time, and running Sushma & Co from our spot on New Bell Road in Banashankari 3rd Stage has been quite a journey. We’re tucked away in Devasandra, right near the Girinagar Police Station. It’s a busy area, but people know where to find us once they get past the traffic. My desk is usually covered in papers and my tea often gets cold before I remember to drink it. That’s just how things go when you’re keeping busy. Most of the folks who walk through the door are neighbors or people who heard about us from someone down the street. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any of those modern glass partitions. It’s just a regular office where we sit down and get to work. Sometimes the printer acts up or the internet slows down when it rains hard, but we manage to stay on track. People ask why we stayed in this building for so long, and I guess it’s because it feels like home now. The morning commute is short, and I know where the best snacks are around here. It isn’t about being the biggest company in the city. We just want to handle what comes our way and make sure everything is sorted out correctly by the end of the day. If you’re coming from the police station side, just keep an eye out for number 96. We’re usually here until the evening when the street lights finally come on.
