If you know Chickpet, you know how busy it gets, and that’s exactly where we are. Our office is in the Raja Krishnamurthy Complex, up on the third floor. Being in room 204 near Sahar, we are right in the thick of the market area. Getting here can be a bit of an adventure, especially when the lanes are crowded with delivery carts and shoppers. Once you make it up to the third floor, though, it’s a bit calmer. We’re near Kala Mandhri, which is another local landmark that people use to find us. The office is full of history, with old wooden desks and cabinets that have been around for decades. We don’t really believe in changing things just for the sake of looking modern. The space is a bit tight, especially with all the ledgers and books we keep on hand. We spend a lot of time checking details and making sure everything is accurate. The air up here is a bit stuffy in the summer, but we have a few fans that keep things moving. It’s a very traditional way of working, and we’re comfortable with it. We know the neighbors in the complex, and there’s a sense of community that you don’t get in newer buildings. We just focus on our daily responsibilities and try to keep the business running smoothly in this busy part of town. It is home to us.
