Supervisor

Arisipalayam is a busy part of Salem, and our office is located right on R.D. Paul Street at number 30. It’s a straightforward setup managed by D. Anandakumar. The street is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you aren't careful. We mostly deal with the day-to-day supervisor tasks from a couple of small rooms. There is an old wooden desk that takes up most of the main room. We keep the ledger books there. The walls are painted a pale blue that has faded over the years. You can hear the sounds of the city outside, but it’s mostly just background noise to us now. We don't have a receptionist or any fancy staff. Usually, it's just one or two of us sitting here and making sure the numbers add up. Sometimes we have to run out to meet clients or check on things nearby, so the office stays locked for an hour or two. It’s a very basic operation. We don’t spend money on things we don’t need. Salem is a hard-working city, and we try to reflect that in how we run things. It is just a place where we get the job done without any fuss. The local tea shop delivers to us twice a day, which is the highlight of the afternoon. We stay until the records are finished and then head home through the evening traffic. It's a simple routine.
