Supervisor In Erection

I work out of J P Nagar in Bangalore, specifically near the Masjie E Ameen area. It is a busy spot but we manage to get things done. My job is mostly on the ground, making sure the structural parts of a building actually get put up correctly. I have been doing this for a long time now. Some days are really long, especially when the weather is not helping us out, but that is just how construction goes. We are located on the 3rd Cross, 2nd Main. It is not a big fancy office or anything like that, just a simple place where we get the planning and the paperwork done. People usually call us when they need someone to watch over the site and make sure the erection work goes up without any big mistakes. I try to keep things as simple as I can. If there is a problem with the steel or the concrete, we fix it right there and then. Bangalore is growing so fast these days, so there is always something to do. I mostly handle the coordination between the blueprints and the actual heavy lifting. It takes a lot of patience. Sometimes the delivery is late or the crew is short-handed, and that is when I have to step in and help out. I like working in the J H B C S Layout area because it is very familiar to me. We are just a few guys doing the work.
