Sun Designers

Sun Designers is located at West Of Chord Road 290/33, 11th Cross, 4th Main Road. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but we’ve been here long enough that we don't even think about it. The office is in a residential-feeling pocket, which is nice. We do design work, so our desks are usually covered in swatches and bits of paper. It’s not a sterile environment; there are usually half-empty coffee mugs and piles of books everywhere. We aren't a big agency with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We like it that way. It keeps things grounded. The light in the afternoon comes through the windows just right, which is when we get most of our thinking done. We aren't into the whole "professional" persona where everything has to be perfect. We make mistakes, we fix them, and we move on. That’s just part of the process. West of Chord Road is a busy part of town, but our little 11th cross corner stays relatively calm. We’ve got a small team that’s been together for a while. We don't do big presentations. We just sit down and talk through ideas until something works. It’s a honest way to earn a living. We enjoy being part of this neighborhood and seeing the same people walking their dogs every day while we work on our latest projects.
