You can find us over at 2, Abbas Garden Street. We are right in the TVS Nagar area of Edayarpalayam. Our focus is mainly on pressure casting, which is a hot and heavy job. The furnaces stay on for most of the shift and the air gets pretty warm inside the building. Sumeka has been operating from this same spot for a good while. We deal with various metals and molds every single day. It’s a process that takes a lot of patience. Sometimes a mold doesn’t set quite right and we have to start all over again. That's just how casting goes. We work with a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines inside and out. It’s not a quiet place to work, that’s for sure. The street outside stays fairly busy with deliveries coming and going. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. If you need to talk to us, you usually have to find us on the shop floor. We try to keep our workspace organized, but with all the metal scraps and equipment, it's a constant battle. We just focus on making sure the castings come out solid and meet the specs we were given. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just show up and do the work. It gets messy and loud, but that is part of the life here.
