Sublim Art & Architecture

Sublim Art & Architecture is located at 3B on Lavelle Road. It is a nice area to work in, though it gets quite crowded with cars during the middle of the day. We have been here for a bit, focusing on both the technical side of architecture and the more creative side of things. We do not just look at blue lines on a map; we think about how a space feels when you actually walk into it. It is a small office, mostly filled with books, models, and sketches. We work on a variety of projects, including some small renovations and some larger buildings from the ground up. We are not interested in making things look like every other glass box on the street. We like adding a bit of character to our designs whenever we can. Sometimes we spend hours just talking about where a window should go to get the best light in the morning. It is a slow process sometimes, but we think it is worth taking the extra time to get it right. We do not have a big corporate structure here. It is just a few of us working together, sharing ideas and occasionally arguing over the best way to solve a design problem. We deal with the city permits and the contractors so our clients do not have to worry about that part too much. It is just us doing what we love in the city.
