Sthira Constructions

Sthira Constructions is tucked away in Jayanagar 5th Block, specifically on 46th Cross. It’s a busy neighborhood, especially with KLM Fashion Mall being so close by. Parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we like the energy here. We’ve been operating out of No 521 for a while. Our day starts early with phone calls to suppliers and checking on the masonry teams. We do all sorts of building work, from small renovations to larger housing projects. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping track of the cement bags. We don’t have a receptionist or anything; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. The office is filled with samples of tiles and bricks. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving between different sites in South Bangalore. Jayanagar has a specific look, and we try to work within that. We aren't interested in making things look overly complicated. We just want the walls to be straight and the roofs to stay dry. Sometimes things get delayed because of the traffic or the rain, but we manage. People stop in because they saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. We keep the kettle going for tea and talk through what needs to be done. It's a simple way of doing business, but it works for us. We often end up talking about the old Bangalore days while we look at new blueprints on the desk. There’s always someone dropping by for a chat.
