Sterlite Industries(I) Ltd.

We are based in the Manipal Centre in Bangalore. Specifically, we are on the 7th floor, in the North Rear Wing, at room 705. It is right in the middle of the city, so things are always hopping around this area. Sterlite Industries(I) Ltd. has been in this building for a good while now. The Pin is 560041. It is a big building with lots of other offices, so it feels a bit like a workplace hive most of the time. Inside our own door, though, it is just us. We have some old filing cabinets and desks that have clearly seen better days. We do not bother with a lot of fancy decorations or art on the walls. We just focus on the industrial side of the business. The view from the 7th floor is okay, but we are usually way too busy with spreadsheets and files to look out the window much. Bangalore traffic can be a real nightmare, so we are all usually pretty relieved once we actually get to our desks in the morning. We handle a lot of the regional stuff from here. It is a lot of phone calls and coordinating with the teams out on the ground. We do not try to sound like some big corporate machine. We are just a bunch of regular people working in an office trying to keep everything running as smoothly as we can. It is a solid place to work and we take it one day at a time.
