Sterling Sign Systems

Sterling Sign Systems is tucked away on the first floor of Avinash Mansion. If you know Lalbagh Road, you know it can get pretty packed with traffic, especially near 1st Cross. Our address is 16/4, and we’ve been here for quite some time. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so carrying materials up and down can be a bit of a workout. We make signs, which means there’s usually some paint or plastic scraps lying around the floor. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how we work best. We have a few machines that hum all day long. The building itself, Avinash Mansion, has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and the rent is fair for this part of town. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, if you come in, you’ll just see us working at the back. We started this because we liked the idea of making things that people actually see on the street. It’s just a few of us running the show. We eat our lunch on the small balcony when the weather isn’t too hot. Lalbagh Road has a lot of energy, and we like being part of that. We aren't some massive corporation with a fancy website; we just focus on the signs on our workbench. Most of our tools are old but they still work perfectly fine for us. We'll probably keep doing this until we get too old to climb those stairs.
