Star Fire Fighters

You can find Star Fire Fighters over at K-62, 1st Cross on Mission Road. We are tucked into the Kargappa Garden area, right near Pai Pharma, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. The shop is filled with red fire extinguishers of all different sizes. We spend a lot of time checking valves, refilling tanks, and making sure the hoses are in good shape. It is a bit of a specific kind of work, but someone has to do it. The neighborhood is quite old and has a lot of character, with narrow lanes and plenty of people walking around. Our space is usually cluttered with safety equipment and tools for maintenance. We keep a logbook on the main counter to track when things come in and go out. It is a small team here, so everyone knows how to handle the equipment. Sometimes we are out on-site, and other times we are here at the shop working on the gear. The smell of powder and metal is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local shop that knows its stuff. Most people around Mission Road know us by now. We just open up the gates every morning and get started on whatever is waiting for us. It is a simple job but we take it seriously every day.
