Star Drugs & Research Labs Ltd is over at The Presidency on St. Marks Road. We are in Flat No. 1 on the first floor. It’s an interesting building, 15 A, with a bit of character. Being on St. Marks Road means we are right in the middle of a very active part of town. The office is actually a converted flat, so it has a slightly domestic feel with different rooms serving as offices. We do a lot of research and handle various drug-related tasks. It’s a lot of reading and technical work. We have bookshelves lined with old manuals and reports. The windows look out towards the street, and you can see people walking by all day. It’s a bit cramped when we have all the staff in at once, but we make it work. We have a small kitchen area where we keep the kettle. The wooden floors creak a bit in certain spots. It’s not a sterile corporate environment; it feels more like a place where people actually think and work. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s a good location for us. We just keep to ourselves mostly and focus on the research projects we have going on. It’s a quiet, steady pace of work here. Sometimes the neighbors are noisy, but we just shut the door and keep going. We have a few plants on the windowsill.
