Standards International

Standards International is located at A-169 in the Peenya Industrial Area. We are on the 4th Cross in the 1st Stage, which is one of the busiest parts of Bangalore if you are in the manufacturing world. The area is filled with small and big factories, and there is always a sense of things being built or moved around. Our building is a simple structure that fits right in with the others on the street. Inside, it is mostly about the equipment and the desks where we keep track of our records. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and we get to talking about whatever needs doing. The noise from the nearby shops is something we have just grown accustomed to over the years. We usually start the day early to beat some of the city traffic. The work involves a lot of routine checks and making sure the daily output is steady. It is not the kind of place you see in a magazine. It is more of a real-world workspace where the floors might be a little scuffed and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. But it works for us and what we do. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand and head home when the sun goes down. It is a simple routine that we have followed for years. (250 words)
