We spend our days up on the 13th floor of the Prestige Meridian building right on MG Road. It’s a busy spot in Bangalore and you can always hear the traffic hum from down below even if we are way up in Unit 1301N and 1302. St Sensors India has been operating from here for a while now. Most of what we do involves handling different types of sensors. They are small things usually, but they keep the office busy. The desks are often covered in technical manuals and little components that we need to sort through. Sometimes the elevators take forever because it’s a big building with lots of other companies around us. We get our tea from the small stalls nearby when we need a break from the screens. It’s not a fancy life, just regular work with electronics and making sure the orders go out to where they are supposed to go. M G Road is always changing, with new shops opening up, but we stay focused on our piles of sensors. We don’t really do much advertising because people who need this kind of tech usually find their way to us through word of mouth or by looking up the building address. It gets a bit cramped when new shipments arrive, and we have to move boxes around to make space for everyone to sit comfortably at their workstations. That is just how it is.
