Sridhar Homes PVT LTD is located on the first floor of Mahalakshmi Chambers, which is right on M G Road. It’s a pretty well-known building in this part of Bangalore. Being at 9/1 means we are right in the thick of things. M G Road is always packed, and sometimes just getting into the building feels like a small victory against the traffic. Our space is fairly straightforward. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that probably need replacing, and a table where we spread out all our site maps. It’s not one of those modern, glass-walled offices you see in magazines. It’s more of a place where actual work happens, and it looks like it too. We’ve got stacks of files and binders everywhere. Most of us have been working together for years, so there’s a lot of shouting across the room instead of sending emails. We drink a lot of tea while looking over project updates. The windows look out toward the street, so we spend a fair bit of time just watching the world go by when we need a break. It’s a solid location for us because people know where Mahalakshmi Chambers is. We don't bother much with decor or making the place look trendy. We just focus on getting the housing projects sorted and keeping the paperwork in order. It’s a busy, messy, and honest kind of office for us.
