If you’ve ever been down B V K Iyengar Road, you know how crowded it gets. We are tucked away at 32 Am Lane in Basettypet. It’s a tight squeeze getting through the cross lanes sometimes. At Sri Vinayaka Enterprises Starlite, we deal with a lot of different items every day. The shop is full of boxes stacked up to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze in here. We spend a lot of time helping people find exactly what they need among all the stock. The street outside is always buzzing with people and carts moving goods. It's never quiet. We open up early and stay late most days. Our team is small, mostly just a few of us who have known each other a long time. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop in a busy part of town. Sometimes we lose track of time because there's always something to move or a customer to talk to. We handle things as they come. It's a practical way to run a business. We know the regulars by name. The lighting in the lane isn't great, but we make do. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and checking lists. We just keep things simple and try to get through the day's tasks. There's usually a lot of noise, but that's just how the neighborhood is.
