Sri Venkateswara Textile Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at 41617 Srirampuram, and we are quite close to the Ganesha Temple. It’s a nice landmark to have, and you can often hear the temple bells from our front door. At Sri Venkateswara Textile Engineering Works, we spend our time working on textile machinery, which is a very specific kind of engineering. The floor is covered with gears, belts, and various parts that go into making looms and other textile equipment work right. It’s not a very quiet place, as there’s always some hammering or testing going on. We’ve been in Srirampuram for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We aren't a big corporation with lots of layers. It’s just us doing the mechanical work that needs to be done. A lot of our customers are local people from the textile trade who know they can just drop by and talk to us about what they need. We don’t have a formal reception area, just a desk in the corner where we keep the books. Most of our day is spent with our tools in hand. We like the fact that we are part of the local community here. Sometimes people stop by just to chat for a minute while they’re on their way to the temple. It’s a busy, cramped space but it works for us. We just focus on the repairs and the engineering side.
