Sri Swamy Packaging

Our shop, Sri Swamy Packaging, is at 40/1 on 9th Cross in the Pete Channappa Industrial Area. This is over in Kamakshipalaya, a part of town that is always moving. We deal with packaging, so our space is usually filled with stacks of materials and boxes. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know where everything is. We have been working out of this location for a good bit of time. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any glossy brochures or a team of sales people. It’s just us on the floor, making sure things are packed and ready. The industrial area can be a bit chaotic with all the loading and unloading, but that’s just how it is here in Kamakshipalaya. We start our day early to get ahead of the heat and the noise. The 9th Cross has a lot of other small units, so we all kind of know each other. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just take the orders and get the packaging sorted. It’s practical work that requires us to be on our feet most of the day. Sometimes the machines get a bit finicky, but we’ve learned how to fix them ourselves over the years. We aren't looking to change the world; we just want to get the day's work finished so we can go home. It’s a local business, run by local people.
