We run our distribution business out of the Mala Building in Dadar West. We are specifically located at number 48 in the Mhatre Industrial Estate, which is a very busy spot in Malleshwaram. It is an older building, but it works perfectly well for storing our stock and moving boxes in and out throughout the day. We deal with various goods that we supply to local shops in the surrounding area. Every morning, we have trucks coming in to drop off new supplies, and then we spend the rest of the day sorting everything and getting it ready for delivery. It is a bit of a workout, moving heavy crates and checking inventory lists constantly. The industrial estate is always humming with noise from all the other businesses nearby, so it is never really quiet here. We have a small team of workers who handle the loading and the paperwork. We do not have a retail counter or anything like that since we mostly sell things in bulk to other businesses. The space is filled with shelves and stacks of boxes right up to the ceiling. Sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit down for a break, but we are usually too busy to care about that. We have been in this location for a long time, so all the local drivers know exactly where we are. It is a practical, no-nonsense setup for us.
