Sri Satya Sai Constructionjs

Our place is tucked away in Mahalakshmi Layout on the 6th Cross in Bovipalya. If you know Bangalore, you know how these cross streets can get. Sri Satya Sai Constructionjs is just a local setup where we handle building work. We’ve been at No. 44/112 for a good while now. The morning starts with the sound of the milk trucks and the neighbors heading out. Our office is small but it fits what we need. There’s usually a lot of dust on the windows because of the construction projects happening nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of the city. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking to the cement suppliers. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always someone coming in to ask about a renovation or why a delivery is late. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is written down in notebooks or stuck on the wall with tape. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the door where there’s a bit of light. We’ve lived and worked in Bangalore long enough to know the shortcuts around the traffic. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes we’re here late into the evening making sure the sites are ready for the next day. We just focus on the bricks and mortar right in front of us. It is just us doing our thing here in the neighborhood.
