Sri Sathya Sai Institute Of Higher Medical Sciences

This is a large hospital located right in the Epip Area of Whitefield. It’s a very big building with a distinct look, sitting next to the In Orbit mall and right across from Sjr Park. It’s a busy part of Whitefield, especially with all the tech parks around. Inside, the place is quite vast and can be a bit confusing to navigate if you're new. We have high ceilings and long corridors. People come from very far away to get treated here. It’s a bit different from other hospitals because it’s a charitable institute. You’ll see a lot of people waiting in the halls. It’s always clean, and the staff is constantly moving. We don’t have the usual billing counters you see everywhere else. The atmosphere is quiet but busy. Outside, the traffic is usually heavy because of the mall and the offices nearby. We’ve been here since the early nineties, and the building has become a bit of a landmark in this area. It’s a serious place where serious work happens every day. There are many departments and hundreds of beds. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done for the patients who walk through those big front doors. It’s an important part of the Whitefield community. The architecture is quite unique, people often stop to take photos of the domes from the outside. Inside, it's more about the medicine. We have volunteers who help people find their way.
