Our shop, Sri Sai Lights, is tucked away in Vidyaranyapura at No. 86 in the AMS Layout. We are right on 3rd A Cross. It’s a quiet residential kind of area, which is nice compared to the main roads. We’ve got all sorts of lights hanging from the ceiling and sitting on shelves. It can get a bit bright in here when we turn everything on to show a customer. We started this because we knew a bit about electrical work. It’s just a local business. Most of our customers live right around the corner. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s usually just family members or a couple of helpers running the place. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because the lane is a bit narrow for big trucks. We make it work though. People come in looking for a bulb or maybe something bigger for their porch. We don’t try to push anything on anyone. If we have it, we show it. If we don’t, we might know where to find it. The shop is small and sometimes we have to move boxes just to find a place to sit and have lunch. It’s a simple life. We like being part of the Vidyaranyapura community. It’s been home for us for a long time now. We just keep the lights on, literally, and hope the neighbors keep stopping by for their electrical needs.
