We've been over here at 12th Cross for a while now. Running a construction business in a place like Bangalore isn't always easy because the traffic is a mess and getting materials on time can be a total headache. We mostly stay busy with various building projects around Mahalakshmi Layout and other nearby spots. My desk is usually covered in blueprints and some old coffee cups. We have a small crew that shows up early, usually before the sun gets too hot, and we just get to work. Sometimes the weather doesn't help us out, especially when those sudden rains start and turn the site into a muddy mess, but we manage somehow. People know where to find us if they need something built or fixed up. It’s a plain office at number 69, nothing fancy about it at all. We just focus on the bricks and the cement. Dealing with the local permits and all the paperwork takes up a lot of my time these days, more than I’d like. I remember when this area was much quieter, but now it's packed with buildings. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the site gets a bit chaotic. That is just how the construction life goes. We've got our trucks parked out back when they aren't out on a job. If you walk past our gate, you’ll probably hear us talking about the next load of sand or cement arriving. It’s just us doing what we know.
