Sri Maruthi Nethralaya

Our eye clinic is on the first floor of No. 18 on 17th Cross, MRCR Road in Vijayanagar. We are right behind the Maruthi Mandir, which is a very well-known temple around here. Because of the temple, the street is usually quite busy with people visiting. We’ve been here for several years now, focusing on eye care. It’s a simple setup—we have a waiting area and then the rooms where we do the eye exams. We see a lot of people who need new glasses or are having trouble with their vision as they get older. We also see kids who are struggling to see the board at school. It’s a lot of sitting and looking through lenses to get the right prescription. The building is a bit older, and you have to walk up to the first floor to reach us. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the records get a bit messy on busy days. Vijayanagar is a great neighborhood, very traditional in some ways. We know a lot of the people who come in because they live just a few streets away. It’s just us here, the doctors and a couple of assistants, making sure everyone can see a bit better when they leave. We don’t have any fancy marketing, just the sign outside and the word of mouth from the temple-goers and locals. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work that we do every day.
