About Sri Manjunatha Battery – Automobile in Bengaluru
At Sri Manjunatha Battery, we are right on Lalbagh Road at 142. It’s a busy street, and the shop is usually full of heavy batteries and charging equipment. The floor is often a bit greasy, and there's a lot of metal around. I’ve been working here for years, and I’ve seen all kinds of vehicles come through. We mostly deal with charging up old batteries or selling new ones when the old ones finally give up. It’s not the cleanest job, my hands are usually pretty dirty by the end of the day. We don't have a waiting room with a TV or anything like that. People just stand around or go get a tea while we test their batteries. It can be loud with the traffic outside, but we are used to it. Lalbagh Road is always moving, and we try to get people moving again when we can. I don't really have a big philosophy about it, I just know how to fix what's broken. The shop is small and the shelves are heavy. Sometimes the inventory is a bit disorganized, but I know what I have in stock. If you’re having trouble starting your car, you just bring it by number 142. We are here every day except Sundays. It’s just me and a helper most of the time. We do what we do and that's about it. We just keep working through the day until it's time to close up the shop.
